Welded Gabion Mesh is made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire, which is processed and formed by automatic, precise and accurate mechanical equipment in strict accordance with the standard of BS1052:1986. And the surface is passivated and plasticized by processes such as electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, dip-plastic coating or Galfan(Zinc-aluminium coating).

1. High Quality Raw Materials

The weight of zinc coating is different for different materials, which is meet the quality testing standard of EN10244-2:2001.

Normal Hot dipped galvanized material's zinc coating is 40-80g/,

Heavy galvanized material's zinc coating is 220-300g/,

Galfan material's zinc coating is 220-500g/,

 

We support customization of special galvanizing quantities, such as over 300g/, over 400g/, around 500g/, etc.

The tensile strength of different materials also varies, generally ranging from 350-550MPA, and even up to 800MPA, all meet the quality testing standard of EN ISO 6892-1:2016.

Connection Types of welded gabion box:

• Spiral wire connection

The spiral wire is made of high quality galvanized steel wire, Galfan coated steel wire, PVC coating steel wire and stainless steel wire. It is widely used in the welded gabion cages fixation and fastening.

• Lacing wire connection
The lacing wire is the most economical type.It made of galvanized wire, PVC coating wire, Galfan coated wire.

• C ring connection
Compared with lacing wire, the C ring can save more times and it is very easy to operate, just use the professional C ring guns to fasten the gabio cage.

• U clip connection

U clip is an metal sheet shaped clips which has better tensile strength than the C rings or lacing wire, and it has long service life. Material: high quality stainless steel.

 

• Stiffener

It is also called internal bracing wire/hook. It is commonly installed in the welded gabion cages to prevent bulging out and ensure the tidy and firm structure. The materials of stiffener can be galvanized or Galfan steel wire, which is same as the mesh wire of welded gabion cage. It can also be made of stainless steel wire, which supply higher tensile strength and more durable life.
